In person support
$195 + HST (1.5 - 2 hours) - initial appointment
$150 + HST (1 - 1.5 hours) - follow-up appointment
Providing hands-on support and guidance in your home, helping to resolve issues or simply providing assurance that breastfeeding is going well.
Virtual support
$125 + HST (1 hour)
Virtual consults can be very beneficial and many issues can be successfully addressed over video. If you are having pain or your baby is not latching, in person appointments are recommended.
Prenatal Consult
$125 + HST (1 hour)
Get off to a great start by learning about what to expect during those first days and weeks after baby arrives. Topics covered include:
latching positions including how to achieve a deep, pain-free latch
feeding cues
how your body makes milk and how to make more!
what to expect for the first feed, hours and few days back home
how to know your baby is getting milk and getting enough
normal newborn behaviour
when to reach out for support
group sessions also available
As an IBCLC, I can help with a number of issues including:
- nipple / breast pain
- mastitis, blocked ducts, engorgement
- low supply / oversupply, supplementation (at or away from the breast / chest), slow weight gain
- latching difficulties / not latching, fussiness at the breast / chest or feeding refusal
